We are excited to share some upcoming staff changes with you, including some new faces you can expect to see around the BID area. 

At the end of August, we will bid a temporary farewell to our Chief Exec, Natalie Raben, as she prepares for an exciting personal milestone. Natalie is expecting her second daughter in early September, and we couldn’t be happier for her – listen to her ‘Views from the ‘Loo’ episode here

During Natalie’s absence, we are fortunate to have a skilled and dedicated team ready to step up and guide WeAreWaterloo through this transition. Our Head of Marketing and Strategy, Harrie Notton, and Head of Public Realm, Alex Butt, will join forces as Acting Co-CEOs. Together, this well-known dynamic duo will oversee the day-to-day executive management of the BID. Charlie Moir, our dedicated Project Manager, embarks on a new journey in September. We’d like to thank him for his contribution to the BID, not least overseeing our innovative Redesign grant scheme, and while he will be missed, we wish him every success in his future.

Welcoming Fresh Faces

The growth of WeAreWaterloo is not limited to leadership roles. We are excited to introduce several new members to our team, each bringing unique skills and perspectives.

  • Hannah Saroli: Our Digital Marketing Assistant, Hannah, has recently embarked on a 12-month full-time placement with us, taking a step away from her Digital Marketing Degree at our local University, LSBU. Her energy, creativity and enthusiasm make her the perfect fit for our growing team. Hannah will be looking after the WeAreWaterloo website and newsletter as well as working with our neighbours, South Bank BID, on our joint, local loyalty card STAR Card. Contact Hannah here.
  • Nina Baker-Francis: Joining us as our Lower Marsh Market Admin Assistant. Nina is stepping in to support Meeta with day-to-day operational assistance two days per week. Get in touch with Nina here regarding any Lower Marsh Market queries.
