One of our flagship projects, Lower Marsh Market is a bustling community hub which offers fantastic street food from around the world and a variety of unique craft products. Running parallel to Waterloo Station, the market has operated since the 1800s where, at its peak, it claimed to be the longest street market in the UK.
The BID manages the operations of the market and maximises its benefit to the wider Waterloo area. Specifically, we aim to keep the market accessible and affordable, whilst also ensuring that it minimises its impact on the environment. We also run a variety of events from late night markets to lunchtime gardening workshops.
