Waterloo is known for its history of activism, community mobilisation and progressive thinking. Therefore, we are always looking for new ways to support vital local charities and community organisations through our own work and the work of our members. Recent examples of our charitable work includes:
- Together at Christmas, our festive charitable initiative encouraging businesses to donate and wrap gifts which are then distributed amongst a variety of local charities.
- Our Tap-to-Donate installation programme which helps charities fundraise at their premises by installing card readers in windows around Waterloo.
- The Foodbank collection scheme provides businesses with a donation box from which food is collected on a monthly basis and taken to the Waterloo Foodbank.
