As we step into February, we’re excited to share upcoming events in Waterloo, from live DJ sets and social runs to film and book club gatherings. For more information on What’s On in the local area – keep an eye on our events calendar!
Ruby After Work
Catch DJ Samantha on the decks at our local Ruby Lucy for their monthly after-work DJ night. Wind down with a cocktail, some nibbles, and the techno tribalism of Samantha’s world-class beats.
Women Awakening Book Club
This is not your average book club. Led by Sonia Ramdev and hosted in The Glitch’s cosy cafe, this book club is designed to nurture inner wisdom and celebrate the divine feminine. This month’s read is Conscious Loving: The Journey to Co-Commitment, so swot up and reserve your ticket on Eventbrite.
Film Jam Social
Connect with like-minded cinephiles at Film Jam’s monthly meetup. They’ll be settling into The Hercules for an evening of premiering participants’ work and getting to know one another.
Mama Mia Brunch
Get ready for a Mamma Mia party that’ll have you saying “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!” more of those ABBA hits!
Vaults and Vibes
DJ Marky and a lineup of incredible special guests are taking over 26 Leake Street for an unforgettable event. Book now for drum, bass, and serious heavyweight energy on the decks.
Run to Wine
The only way you’ll get us to run a 5km is if there are (several) glasses of wine on offer. Which is why we’ve got tickets for Run to Wine. They’re motivating joggers by finishing up at Unwined Waterloo for their legendary wine tasting.
Our Foodbank Donation initiative is a vital part of our mission to connect and represent the Waterloo community. We collect non-perishable food items, hygiene products, and other essential supplies from generous local businesses. These donations are then delivered directly to the Waterloo Foodbank, where they are distributed to individuals and families in need. Donations are
