We are excited to welcome Bruno, a dedicated student of Urban and Environmental Planning at LSBU, to the WeAreWaterloo team on a part-time basis after successfully completing his internship with us. From the start of his internship in February, Bruno’s passion for urban development was clear as he enthusiastically tackled his tasks.

During his internship, Bruno conducted area audits, documenting points of interest and areas of concern within the Waterloo community. For him, the process of completing audits was an aspect of his work he found particularly engaging. “I’m quite an observant individual,” Bruno remarks, “I have a keen eye for things.”  His attention to detail and proactive approach to addressing neighborhood issues quickly made him a valuable member of our team.

As Bruno transitions to his new role as Operations Assistant, we are excited to continue our journey together. His commitment to creating sustainable, inclusive urban spaces aligns perfectly with our mission here at WeAreWaterloo. “I love being part of an organisation that’s so proactive,” Bruno enthuses, “I’m looking forward to making a difference at WeAreWaterloo.”

We’re confident that Bruno will continue to have a positive impact on our community, and we’re delighted to welcome him to the team.

Welcome aboard, Bruno!
