This Summer, Waterloo Green Group is hosting a line-up of fantastic community events, and we want you to join us! Whether you’re a local office worker or resident, or just a passerby, everyone is more than welcome to get involved.

‘ROOTED’ GARDENING CLUB

Ready to transform your neighbourhood? Join the Waterloo Gardening Club to help maintain the area’s planters and pocket parks and contribute to the urban greening of the neighbourhood.

  • What to Expect: We’ll provide all the tools and materials, so just bring yourself and maybe a friend! We’ll be planting, tidying up, and having a good time.
  • Why Join? It’s a fun way to spend a few hours and do something positive for the neighborhood. Plus, you’ll get to see the fruits (and flowers) of your labor!
  • Bonus: Volunteers will receive a free £10 voucher for Lower Marsh Market as a thank you for your help.

EDIBLE MARSH

With the help of our resident gardener, Frances, Lower Marsh Market hosts this monthly community gardening workshop on Lower Marsh.

  • What’s Happening: Each month, we dive into a new gardening project. From Strawberries to Tomatoes, it’s all about having fun and getting involved.
  • Family Fun: Bring your family and friends! These activities are perfect for kids and adults alike. It’s a great way to spend time together and learn something new.

Whether you’re a local resident with a passion for gardening, a worker in the Waterloo area looking for a fulfilling lunch break, or a community member eager to enhance our neighbourhood, Waterloo Green Group events are perfect for you!
