At WeAreWaterloo, we’re always looking for new ways to promote Waterloo’s unique selection of restaurants, bars and cultural institutions.

As the world’s fastest-growing social media company, TikTok has become an essential part of the BID’s destination marketing strategy. Having only launched this summer, WeAreWaterloo’s TikTok videos have already been viewed over 75,000 times. It’s hoped this digital exposure will increase place brand awareness and generate footfall for Waterloo businesses.

Authenticity is key to success on TikTok, therefore we’re looking create content featuring the local Waterloo community (see below).
