Smiles all round as Local Dental Practice celebrates 10 years in Waterloo.
‘Tooth‘, the popular dental practice in Waterloo this month celebrates 10 years since opening on Lower Marsh. The dental practice has proved exceptionally popular with patients from across Waterloo and Southwark and Lambeth boroughs, as well as from much further afield, having won multiple awards and gained hundreds of 5 Star Google Reviews. In fact, the original branch became so popular that Tooth had to expand – and in 2021 opened a second branch at 45-46 Lower Marsh (at the old Ian Allen bookshop site), as Tooth’s Principal Dentist, Dr. Anna Olczak explains:
“From the very beginning, we knew that we had to open tooth on Lower Marsh. Living locally we knew the street well, and loved the eclectic nature and whole vibe of the street and of our community – we just couldn’t have imagined how popular tooth was going to become!”
“Things have changed a lot on Lower Marsh since we opened our first branch of tooth ten years ago, but one thing hasn’t changed – and that’s the people. The Lower Marsh community of locals, students, workers, and tourists, continues to delight us every day and we’re so proud to be part of this fantastic and unique community for so long!”
Serving the local Waterloo community has always been a priority for Dr. Anna and her team of dentists, dental specialists, and dental hygienists: “In simple terms, we wanted to create dentistry that was open, honest, fairly priced, and accessible. We’ve always kept our prices low and a new patient exam is still only £45! From what we can tell, it seems that we did that well as we just simply couldn’t keep up with demand as word spread! It seemed everyone was talking about Tooth. We put in more dental chairs at our original branch and increased the opening hours too, but that wasn’t enough, so we knew to really serve our community we needed to provide even more availability. And the only way we would do that was to take another unit on Lower Marsh and build a whole new practice.”
With the increased space, tooth is now able to offer even more services, with so much more than just dental fillings, hygiene, dental check ups and emergencies. They now offer dental implants, specialist endodontics, oral surgery including wisdom tooth removal, Invisalign and even facial aesthetics (Botox, skin boosters and dermal fillers) and much more.
