Throughout the year WeAreWaterloo have been working hard to ensure our organisation, as well as the local businesses and community are engaged in sustainable efforts to make our area less polluted and greener. We have been driving forward progress on our Climate Action Plan which can be found here.

We encourage local businesses to join us for our next Climate Action Group meeting where WeAreWaterloo and other key stakeholders will share their updates and aspirations for taking appropriate action to improve sustainability and tackle climate change. Topics will include updates on a new Net Zero Programme Lead who has joined us to deliver our collaborative Waterloo and South Bank Net Zero Strategy, alongside updates on waste & recycling, active transport and greening projects to name a few. Grant funding opportunities for businesses will also be explored and could be invaluable to businesses who could find ways to maximise their savings whilst helping the environment!

The details for this Climate Action Group Meeting are below:

  • Location: The Calder Bookshop & Theatre, 51 The Cut, London, England, SE1 8LF
  • Date: Wednesday 29th November 2023, 4.00-5.00pm
