What’s On in Waterloo – July

The temperatures are rising and so is Waterloo’s events calendar. From rooftop workouts and immersive theatre to outdoor cinema, brunches and sunset sessions, here’s what’s on this July.

Rooftop wellness

Start the month on a high with a series of rooftop wellness events overlooking the Waterloo skyline.

On 1 July, head to Capital Tower for Sky High Dynamic Pilates with Skye. Expect a challenging but rewarding session featuring dynamic movement, deep core work and incredible city views.

Then on 2 July, slow things down with Sky High Yoga, a gentle lunchtime flow designed to leave you feeling refreshed and recharged.

Theatre & culture

If you’re looking for something a little different, CLUB NVRLND at The Vaults promises an unforgettable night out. Part immersive theatre, part nightclub, this unique musical experience blurs the line between audience and performer.

Meanwhile, The Old Vic’s production of Glengarry Glen Ross continues throughout July until 18 July. David Mamet’s Pulitzer Prize-winning drama remains one of the most celebrated plays of the modern era and is well worth catching while you can.

History & conversation

On 23 July, IWM London hosts an evening exploring The Nuremberg Trials. The event opens with a talk from IWM curator James Bulgin, followed by an in-conversation event with author Natalie Livingstone. Guests will also have the opportunity to visit IWM’s award-winning Holocaust Galleries after hours, accompanied by museum guides.

Rooftop evenings & brunches

Summer evenings were made for rooftops. Head to Capital Tower Rooftop on 11 July for an afternoon of R&B, skyline views and summer vibes. Expect DJs, cocktails and one of Waterloo’s most unique rooftop settings.

Later in the month, Fiorenza hosts its popular R&B Brunch Party on 25 July, bringing together bottomless brunch favourites and a soundtrack packed with R&B classics.

Lower Marsh Lates returns

One of Waterloo’s favourite summer traditions is back.

On 30 July, Lower Marsh Lates returns with a FREE outdoor screening of Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet from 6pm-9pm.

Bring your friends, grab some food and drinks from Lower Marsh’s fantastic independent businesses and enjoy an evening of cinema beneath the summer sky. Many local businesses will also be offering special promotions and themed treats throughout the evening.

Make the most of summer in Waterloo

Whether you’re looking for culture, wellness, live music, theatre or a memorable evening outdoors, Waterloo has plenty to keep you busy this July.
