WeAreWaterloo is thrilled to welcome Val Beirne as our new Head of Public Realm.
Val brings a wealth of experience in urban design, placemaking and BIDs, and she’s already buzzing with ideas to enhance the spaces we all love in Waterloo.
“I’m delighted to be joining the We Are Waterloo team at this exciting time as strategic placemaking projects take shape in the neighbourhood. From the transformation of Hercules Road and Emma Cons Gardens, the consolidation of Lower Marsh as a local high street, to the wider regeneration of Waterloo Station there is so much opportunity for the BID to continue to creatively shape the future of Waterloo’s public realm.”
Keep an eye out for Val at local events, walkabouts, and community meetings. If you’d like to reach out directly, please contact her via email: val@wearewaterloo.co.uk.
