We’re really pleased to say that Rooted is back this April, with our first session of the season taking place on Thursday 2 April on Hercules Road. It’s a great excuse to step away from the desk, get outside, enjoy a bit of fresh air, and make the most of the spring sunshine.
Rooted was a great success last year, and we’re really keen to build on that – bringing more people together, growing the community, and giving BID businesses and local workers another fun, informal way to meet each other. It’s hands-on, sociable, and a really nice way to get involved in looking after Waterloo’s green spaces. Plus, everyone who joins gets a free lunch voucher to use on Lower Marsh afterwards. Rooted takes place monthly at lunchtime, so do check the website for the full schedule of upcoming sessions.
And that’s not all – our popular pub walking tours are back too, kicking off with a spring special on Thursday 26 March. It’s a brilliant way to welcome the new season, get out after work, and explore the area in a different way. There’ll be local history, good company, great pub stops – and to help kick things off, your first drink is on us. It’s a fun, relaxed way to meet other local businesses and workers, socialise, and enjoy Waterloo a little differently. Do check the website for other upcoming pub walk dates too. Head to Eventbrite and get booked in – we’d love to see you there!
