WeAreWaterloo offers a single point of contact for business enquiries in the area. If you are a BID member, contact our team with any business-related questions and we will help or direct you to an organisation that can. We also provide a range of business communications service for or on behalf of local enterprises.
WeAreWaterloo host quarterly 'Business Matters Breakfasts'; these are essentially breakfast sessions for BID members to attend based on business need. From PR and social media, to the impact of Brexit and beyond, sessions usually start at 8.30am until 10am and we can expect up to 50 attendees from across Waterloo. These sessions are a great way for you to connect with local businesses.
We continue to provide opportuities for businesses and community groups to come together through activities such as the Blackfriars Road Development Briefing and Annual Party. We organise several networking events throughout the year at a variety of venues. These events offer the opportunity to meet fellow businesses in the area, work together or discuss new ideas and key issues. Check the events calendar for details of forthcoming networking events.
Lobbying and consultation
With considerable regeneration underway, including major projects on Blackfriars Road and Westminster Bridge Roads, we have provided a key conduit between local businesses, TFL, Lambeth and Southwark Councils and their contractors. Through strategic partnerships with local and regional government as well as developers and organisations such as the Police, WeAreWaterloo offers a voice for local businesses in all matters concerning enterprise in the area.
