Signing the pledge confirms that your venue actively operates Ask for Angela and is committed to maintaining the scheme so that anyone needing support gets the help they need.
It’s free to sign. Once complete, you’ll receive:
- A certificate to display in your venue,
- Access to downloadable assets to help you promote the scheme clearly,
- Updates and practical guidance to help you keep Ask for Angela live in your venue,
- A free listing on the Ask for Angela website, showing the public that your venue is signed up to Ask for Angela.

Guide Shelter Report principles launched
Guide Shelter Report is a set of dynamic response principles that can be used by businesses and organisations (and their staff) to respond effectively in the event of a terrorist attack.
The threat picture for terrorism is complex and constantly evolving, with terrorists choosing to attack a broad range of locations. An attack can happen at any time and in any place.
Past incidents have shown us that decisive action can help save lives. To help everyone mitigate the harm from terrorism, and to support you in being prepared in case the worst happens, the National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO) has developed Guide Shelter Report (GSR).
This is a set of dynamic response principles that can be used by staff in any business or organisation in the event of a terrorist attack.
