A new mural highlights the Cornwall Road Greenway

Lower Marsh-based business, Lucky 23 (soon-to-be YoYoPop) bring colour to our Greenways project with a new mural

Whether you're commuting, or simply taking a stroll around the BID area, be sure to swing by our new mural. Inspired by the local area, nature and the theme of Greenways, the stylish new addition is a sight not to be missed. The mural itself was designed and created by a local graphic design company, YoYoPop.

The Cornwall Road Greenway Project is a clean air walking route in Waterloo. The project serves to highlight and attract footfall to the street via a variety of interventions, such as additional planting, beautification, lighting and artwork. Find out more information about the Greenways project here. The mural will also feature an information board providing further details on Greenways in the centre.

Cornwall Road contains 70% fewer pollutants than the parallel Waterloo Road. By adding various improvements to the street, we hope to ensure that commuters, tourists, workers and residents alike are more inclined to traverse and benefit from the improved air quality.

While you're visiting the mural, you might want to check out our new pocket park on Secker Street, which has been installed and planted following a community planting day in partnership with Groundwork London.
