Introducing Edible Lower Marsh – Our new gardening club!
With a start date of Thursday 9 May, the lunchtime club will meet twice a month from 12-2pm on Lower Marsh (exact dates TBA very soon) and these FREE sessions are aimed at those who live, work and study in Waterloo. Reclaim your lunch break by getting green-fingered and learn how to sow seeds and grow edible plants - such as chillies, herbs, tomatoes, rocket & more - from scratch.
Large groups (such as offices) are encouraged to book via email here, and individuals can sign themselves onto a session via Eventbrite (link for 9 May will be available shortly).
Marketing and Communications Manager, Harrie Notton, said:
"We are delighted to be partnering with Meanwhile Club on this brand new service, which will hopefully encourage Waterloo workers, dwellers and students to escape homes and offices for a short while and embrace a new, or existing hobby. Mindfulness in the workplace is on the rise, and we are proud to be able to offer another free service to those wanting to down tools for an hour, and return to work with a new sense of purpose - and perhaps a punnet full of homegrown strawberries!"
