Direct Photographic's special delivery for primary school

Direct Photographic have kindly donated some brightly coloured paper rolls to Oasis Johanna Primary School, so that they can make costumes for this year's Waterloo Carnival.

The paper rolls are used as backdrops to filming and photo shoots, and the ones donated are open but unused and are no longer needed by the company. Direct Photographic are based on Hercules Road, just around the corner from the school, and are delighted that the rolls will be put to good use through the partnership, which was brokered by Waterloo Quarter. The rolls were delivered by Gary Hill (pictured) and the children couldn't wait to get started with their costumes. They will use the paper to make their costumes for the Waterloo Carnival. The theme for the carnival this year is circus, so we can't wait to see what they create!

The Waterloo Carnival 2014 will take place on Friday 4th July, from 1.30pm until 4pm and then into the evening on and around Lower Marsh. The procession leaves Tanswell Street at 1.30pm and the finale will take place on Millennium Green at 2.15pm. For more information visit

Direct Photographic's donation to the school is a great example of Waterloo Quarter's CSR work in the area. Find out more about CSR work in Waterloo by visiting the Our Waterloo page.
