Free WEEE Collection Day – Wednesday 24 June, 9-5pm
Got old electronics gathering dust in the office? On Wednesday 24 June, our waste and recycling partner First Mile is running a FREE Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) collection for WeAreWaterloo BID businesses – falling neatly within London Climate Action Week.
How it works
- Open to all BID businesses – you do not need to be a First Mile customer
- Free collection of up to 3 items of electricals per business
- First Mile will come to your premises and collect from inside the building
- No WEEE sacks or stickers needed – just have your items prepared and ready for collection on the day
What they can collect: Anything from keyboards, laptops and phones to printers, monitors, small kitchen electronics, cables, chargers and DVD players – all responsibly recycled. Check the First Mile poster for the full list of examples.
What they can’t collect: Hazardous items including batteries, fridges, toner cartridges and lightbulbs aren’t eligible for this collection. They can be recycled through a separate First Mile collection at our discounted WeAreWaterloo rate – get in touch with First Mile directly if you’d like to arrange one.
