Join us for the launch of the Reimagining Emma Cons Gardens summer series, a community-led event series designed to reclaim and reimagine this cherished green space ahead of its long-term transformation.

Taking place on Clean Air Day, the Sustains Us: Garden Party is an opportunity to enjoy music, food and activities while learning more about how we are working together to improve air quality for everyone who lives, works and visits here.

Throughout the day, you can take part in a range of free activities across Emma Cons Gardens: Daytime Activities (separate registration)

• Free Dr Bike with XO Bikes from 11- 2pm

Bring your bike along for a free safety check and minor repairs.

• Rooted Gardening Club from 1-2pm
• Evening Garden Party from 5pm

Join us for an evening celebration featuring:

• Live music from Morley College Jazz Band and Coin Street Community Singers
• Cake from Konditor and nibbles from Eden Caterer
• Prosecco bar by the Old Vic

You can also meet local organisations helping people travel more sustainably, including:

• Swapfiets – our local bike leasing service
• OurBike – cargo bike hirers
• Wheels for Wellbeing – removing barriers to cycling
• Sustains Us – local air quality guidance

And many more…

As part of the event, you will also be able to find out more about plans to transform Emma

Cons Gardens and help shape the future of this important local green space. The event

launches a summer series at Emma Cons Gardens running from 18 June to 17 September.

Across the summer, the series will feature live performances, creative workshops, pop-up

activities and participatory installations, curated with local partners and residents.

Whether you want to get involved in local climate action, meet neighbours, enjoy live music, or simply spend time outdoors, everyone is welcome!
