Installed in June 2024, our community piano was put in place to bring a bit more liveliness and connection to the UK’s second busiest station – a small invitation to slow down in a space built for moving through. You’ll find it in the Pit at The Sidings, free to play and open to everyone.

The piano was jointly funded through a local partnership between Network Rail, South Western Railway, Morley College, The Sidings and us. Morley College students gave the inaugural performance, opening – fittingly – with ABBA’s Waterloo.
