Johanna Primary School is one form entry community primary school in a 1960s single storey building located in the heart of Waterloo. The school boasts excellent facilities including a computer suite and library designed by the architects responsible for the Millennium Wheel. The children come mainly from houses in neighbouring streets, local estates and co-operative housing in the South Bank. There is a broad and exciting cultural mix. We offer a stimulating and supportive environment in which children are encouraged to achieve their best both academically and in terms of their own personal development, with the support of peers, families and staff. We provide a child centered approach to education and we study the National Curriculum. We continue to develop our role in the community through involvement with the Young Vic Theatre, Waterloo Millennium Green, South Bank Employers' Group, Coin Street Community Builders and other organisations.
