Waterloo Food Month Programme is Live

This July we celebrate a month of food and drink with a packed programme of exciting events hosted by Waterloo’s vibrant mix of restaurants, pubs, bars, cafes and food shops

Waterloo’s top chefs, foodies and baristas will be revealing their secrets and techniques in a month of exclusive masterclasses, demos, talks, workshops and tasting sessions. The full events programme is available to view here, and includes a butchery demo, butter and cheese-making, wine tastings, gin sampling, mojito-making, gelato workshop, cake tastings and lunch and supper clubs.

This year, events will also take place in Granby Place - Waterloo’s new outdoor events space. An exciting series of small and intimate food and drink-inspired events, including growing, foraging and cooking, poetry and hands-on workshops will be revealed next month.

Waterloo Food Month Launch Party! Join an evening street party event along Lower Marsh with live entertainment, demonstrations and free tasting sessions. Stallholders include: Greenport Kitchen, Konditor & Cook, Sticky Mango, The Duke of Sussex, Farm Street Kitchen and Yo! Sushi. Thursday 29th June 5.00-9.00pm

Mojito Masterclass and Tasting with Cubana. Learn the secrets of making the perfect mojito from the people who introduced them to the UK 20 years ago. Monday 3rd & 17th July 5.45pm

Tutored wine and South East Asian cuisine pairing. Understand the challenges of pairing great wine with south east Asian cuisine with a 6-course dinner introduced by Sticky Mango chef Peter Lloyd and RSJ’s Nigel Wilkinson. Monday 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th & 31st July 7.00pm

Gin Masterclass in the Waterloo Sky Bar at H10 Hotel London Waterloo. An evening of expert chat with several different gin distileries, and complimentary cocktail. Wednesday 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th July. 6.00pm

Cheese & butter-making workshop with expert instruction from Adrian Collishon, chef director at Eden Caterers. Wednesday 5th & 12th July. 6.00pm
