Waterloo Festival 2019 - Transforming Being

The Waterloo Festival is an annual celebration of the arts, based in and around St John's Waterloo.

The Waterloo Festival is an annual festival that involves art, talks, music, word and drama based at St John's Church, Waterloo. It is a colourful celebration of all that Waterloo, the dynamic and artistic heart of London, has to offer. This year's theme is 'Transforming Being' and is open to everyone, particularly those who wish to explore Waterloo's heritage and artistic scene. The festival kicks off with a Free Rush-Hour Concert on June 6th and the opening of an outdoor sculpture exhibition by the London Group and Friends. Key events throughout the event include the Eid Celebration Film Screening, featuring the first Uk screening off Algeria's 2019 entry for Best Foreign Language Film at the Academy Awards;  a lecture by anaesthetist on 'How to be Superhuman' and a Festival Garden Party.
