Christian Aid, whose headquarters are situated on Lower Marsh, will be running a stall for one day only on 15th December to raise money for their Christmas Appeal. Christian Aid are a global development charity who are asking people to help us ‘LIGHT THE WAY’ this Christmas for refugees escaping the darkness of violence and conflict. They will be highlighting the plight of those with no safe place to call home, with particular focus on those in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Serbia and Myanmar.
On the stall, there will be a range of Christian Aid produce available accompanied by mulled wine and minced pies. There will also be live musicians playing Christmas music - festive to boot!
