Independents' Day 2012 Gallery

Pictures from the celebration of Waterloo's independent retailers.

Waterloo workers and residents celebrated Independents' Day with local retailers on July 4th.

Independents' Day is a national campaign to encourage people to support their local independent shops and the people who work in them.

In Waterloo, Rivers Remedies and The Old Vic Tunnels ran special stalls on Lower Marsh Market.

The Dulux dog made an appearance in the Cubana car park in Lower Marsh and Greensmiths and I Knit London ran evening events.

Skillsmart, the company behind Independents' Day, also sent their mascot to Waterloo to meet and greet members of the public.

A selection of pictures from the day is below.
