This Is Me
This exhibition explores the relationship between place and identity as experienced by young care leavers in London.

Having grown up in an environment of constant uncertainty, for them, long- term stable relationships and a secure home aren’t things taken for granted. London, then, becomes a sanctum of memories created in different places, with their childhood home being in one borough, their school and foster family in another, and their supported accommodation in yet another part of the capital. Look at London landmarks and ordinary places we walk past every day through the eyes of a care leaver and discover a different perspective of the city we live in.
