The Dark Side of Accountancy: Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility
For the second year running LSBU will be holding a national accountancy conference looking at a specific theme, and this year they will be focusing on ethics and corporate social responsibility.

For a second year LSBU have teamed up with PQ Magazine to deliver an accounting conference for its students, members of accredited bodies, and any alumni and stakeholders who will find the event of interest.

This year’s topic is around the dark side of accounting, focusing on corporate social responsibility and ethical accounting. What are the implications on strategy, company positioning, the legal ramifications and how are they financially measured?

Last year’s event was a complete sell-out!

Last year, industry heavyweights gave intriguing and detailed talks on the day, with people like Alan Hatfield, Executive Director, Strategy & Development, ACCA; Tony Margaritelli, Chair of ICPA; and Tim Pinkney, Director of Professional Standards, AIA on the day, all experts in their fields, and adding value to delegates on the day.

This year will be no different, and we will be working to deliver a whole host of expert speakers on specific topics.

We hope this will be a CPD recognised event, but we will look to confirm this closer to the date.
