Time travel Soviet style

adapted from Vladimir Mayakovsky’s play

It’s the year 1930 – Soviet inventor Chudakov, after a lifetime of painstaking work has succeeded in creating the World’s first time machine. But before he can try it out it’s grounded by the might of the Soviet bureaucratic machine, tethered to the Present by arch official Pobedonosikov. Only with the arrival of The Phosphorescent Woman from the year 2030 (sent by the Institute for The Study of the History of Communism) can we discover who is and who is not worthy to travel to a glorious Communist future…
