BAME voices for Progress: representing our nation
A day of discussion and debate about politics and representation in the Labour movement and in wider political life.

"BAME voices for Progress: representing our nation is a day of discussion and debate about politics and representation in the Labour movement and in wider political life. As well as an exciting keynote address from Chuka Umunna MP, we will also be welcoming people of colour from across the Labour family to debate issues from criminal justice and Islamophobia, to Brexit and the labour market. Please join us for what promises to be an engaging and diverse event that will welcome everyone in our movement to hear issues, and people, that are often under-represented."

The event is organised by Progress Online, a movement of centre-left Labour party members and supporters. Progress make the case for liberal social democracy in a world where its values are under threat. Membership of Progress is open to all members of the Labour party. Progress is chaired by Alison McGovern MP.
