Chris opened Greensmiths in December 2008 having had a long-term affiliation to Lower Marsh and a desire to create something which sold good food at keen prices.
The shop is an amalgam of all kinds of loveliness. It incorporates The Ginger Pig butchers, The Old Post Office Bakery and the Waterloo Wine Company amongst other quality food and drink suppliers.
There is also a wonderful upstairs cafe where you can enjoy a coffee against a backdrop of uncovered brickwork.
A cheese counter, fresh fruit and vegetables section and wine racks also sit in Greensmiths, which is split across four levels.
