We can’t quite afford to visit the furthest expanses of the world just yet, but we do occasionally like to let our minds drift off to foreign lands.
And when we decide we want an afternoon of lazily dreaming about sunshine, we head to the Four Corners Café.
Designed around a travel theme, this lovely little Lower Marsh hangout is a friendly and quirkily fitted-out magnet for actual and aspiring globetrotters.
The coffee is excellent, as are the snacks, and the aim of owner Gary Baxter is to build a customer community which will share their foreign adventures over a hot drink.
It’s a sensible idea. After all, if you’ve travelled the world there’s only one place you’ll want to return to …. the clue’s in the name of this site.
