Where to start? Take your pick from the bakery, deli counter, café, restaurant or bar…

We could easily spend the whole day being fed and watered here.

First thing in the morning, for example, the bread and pastry chefs are busy baking for sister restaurant Tas, so locals know that this is the place to come for fresh loaves and cakes.

Around elevenses, take tea in the café area. Surrounded by tasty Turkish and organic treats in the deli, you’ll find it hard not to buy something to take home.

A little later you might want pop back in for a Mediterranean lunch or head to the restaurant after work for the full three courses. Our recommendation? Try the grilled lamb with mashed potatoes and red cabbage.

If the night is still young then there’s also the EV bar to keep you entertained all evening. You’ll have to leave at some point though - the only thing they don’t do here is a bed for the night…

Our little known fact about EV:
The gardens outside are a quiet getaway from The Cut. People come from all over the UK to sit and eat among the hanging baskets, trees and flower boxes.
