During Pride month, join us in Waterloo for a panel discussion aimed at exploring the complex relationship between faith and sexuality. Join us as we delve deeper into this important intersection and explore the possibilities for change and greater understanding.

IWM In Conversation with: Lindsey Fitzharris | The Facemaker
Join us at IWM London to discuss award-winning historian Lindsey Fitzharris’s latest book The Facemaker and experience the First World War Galleries in an exclusive after-hours setting. Following the discussion there will be an opportunity to ask questions, as well as tour the First World War Galleries!
Alaska Waterloo – Karaoke Thursdays
Come sing your heart out to top smash singles as Waterloo’s newest bar transports you into a world of music. As of June 1, 2023, Alaska Waterloo will feature smash hits every Thursday. You’re invited to sing, lip sync, or even perform the macarena. Grab your dancing shoes and get ready to impress your friends with iconic singing and dancing all night long. SHORINJIRYU RENSHINKAN KARATE-DO
Discover the transformative power of traditional karate at the Waterloo Action Centre Dojo. These classes teach traditional karate with heart, community, discipline and passion at its core! Classes take place at Waterloo Action Centre, conveniently placed next to Waterloo Station! Join every Thursday, with extra sessions available for senior practitioners.
Want to help make the local area more sustainable? The Waterloo Gardening Club is looking for volunteers to help maintain the area’s planters and pocket parks and contribute to the urban greening of the neighbourhood. Join Frances on Wednesday lunchtime (12:30pm) at the Leake Street pocket park outside of Sino Thai for a session of planting, weeding and pruning with local workers and residents looking to make a difference on their doorstep.
Crime & Security Forum
Join us for an important event dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of our community. This is a chance for businesses in the Waterloo area to get updates on known offenders, licensing support, and security partnerships as well as participate in a local security survey.
