In order to enhance the safety and security of the Waterloo district, FGH Security has joined forces with the WeAreWaterloo Business Improvement District (BID) to introduce new Security Officers. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to ensuring a secure environment for residents, businesses, and visitors of Waterloo.

The selection of FGH Security for the role of safeguarding Waterloo was the outcome of a very intense tender process, where 15 different security companies were invited to tender for the contract. FGH Security stood out as the best company to provide the service to their businesses in the BID area, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the partnership.

FGH Security has an impressive portfolio, extending well beyond Waterloo’s borders. They provide security services for the New Westend Company BID encompassing iconic areas such as Oxford Street, Regent Street, Bond Street, and Mayfair. Their expertise isn’t confined to city streets; FGH Security has also secured venues across the UK, major retail establishments, football stadiums like Wembley, and even headline-grabbing events like Glastonbury and Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. Behind this accomplished company stands Managing Director, Peter Harrison. This highly decorated entrepreneur made an appearance on Dragons’ Den when the company was founded.

FGH Security’s purpose is unequivocal: “Keeping People Safe.” The company’s commitment to quality security solutions aligns seamlessly with the objectives of WeAreWaterloo BID Security to keep people safe.

FGH Security and WeAreWaterloo BID aim to actively address community security concerns head-on. The strategic deployment of Security Officers across key locations will not only deter potential threats but also provide reassurance to the community.

Beyond their security roles, the newly introduced Security Officers are ambassadors of the community. They are friendly and approachable, and aim to fostering a sense of belonging among residents and visitors. Look out for our new security officers in the area wearing their orange uniforms, they’ll be happy to say hello!
